Dea Wall Light by Il Fanale explores the sculptural simplicity of the circle through a layered composition of concentric iron forms. Appearing as a decorative wall object when unlit, the fitting transforms once illuminated, revealing depth, shadow, and a soft interplay of light across its surface.

Its handcrafted Marea finish draws inspiration from the colours and movement of the Mediterranean. Created through a traditional burnishing technique, the iron is immersed and hand-finished layer by layer to achieve a rich tonal gradient, shifting from warm coppery hues to cooler, sea-inspired shades. This artisanal process ensures each piece carries a unique visual character.

The wall-mounted luminaire features a circular light distribution, with part of the luminous flux directed toward the rear surface to create soft indirect background illumination. The remaining light is projected forward toward the centre of the fixture, producing a focused accent that enhances the layered geometry and decorative presence of the design.
